Please read the following carefully. By submitting an order, you are accepting the Terms and Conditions of the Garden Trends website.

1.Descriptions, Prices and Information

When adding products to the website, we take care to describe and show items as accurately as possible. Despite this, slight variations in items may occur. We provide you with product information on or by our Customer Service telephone or email contact methods. If there is anything which you do not understand, or if you wish to obtain further information, please contact Customer Services.

All prices displayed are correct at time of entry, and what the law calls an "invitation to treat". You cannot insist that a shop sells you anything at a marked price, whether or not they have made a mistake. Under law, a retailer is entitled to decide the price he wants to charge for his goods. The price offered in respect of an item on the Garden Trends website may differ from the price offered at the same time in our stores. We are under no obligation to honour any in-store price or promotion in the event that it differs from those on the Garden Trends website.

If, by mistake, we have under-priced an item, we will not be liable to supply that item to you at the stated price, provided that we notify you before we despatch the item to you. In those circumstances, we will notify the correct price to you so you can decide whether or not you wish to proceed with the order. If you decide not to order the item, we will give you a full refund on any amount already paid for that item in accordance with our refund policy.

In the same way you don't have to buy goods from anyone, a retailer is under no obligation to sell you anything.

Item size descriptions may not always be wholly accurate, we endeavour to post accurate size dimensions to our product pages, but they should be used as a rough guide, some variation may be present.

1.1 VAT

All prices are expressed inclusive of any VAT payable unless otherwise stated.

1.2 Flatpack

Unless otherwise stated, most of our products require some assembly, the scope of this should be briefly explained on the item page itself; if you have any questions, please contact our customer service team to discuss this. Our larger BBQ and garden furniture most likely will not come flat packed, it will be a bulky delivery in a large box(or boxes) and / or on a pallet, some assembly will be required.

At this time, we do not offer a pre or post purchase assembly service; we are not required to do so and are under no obligation to alter our prices of products to factor in any cost to you if you decide to hire someone for this task.

1.3 Remittance Terms

Please note that for administrative reasons, we cannot take deposits or hold stock. Your credit/debit card is charged in full at the time of order. Orders placed using PayPal are re-directed to PayPal and are also charged in full at the time of order. BNPL (Buy Now Pay Later) purchases are also started at the time of purchase, you will be redirected to the relevant BNPL option to confirm the agreement before your order is completed.

2. Stock Availability

We try to ensure that we always carry sufficient stock levels where possible. Where a product is despatched directly from a manufacturer, we may need to contact them first to confirm availability. If an item is knowingly out of stock it will be labelled as such on the Garden Trends website. If you order from our Customer Services by phone, email, or in-store and you will be told if the item is in stock. If for any other reason beyond our reasonable control we are unable to supply a particular item, we will not be liable to you except to ensure that you are promptly refunded for that item.

 3.Site Registration

To purchase from the Garden Trends website, you can choose to setup a website user account. This is simple to do, allows you to keep track of your purchases, and ensures a positive buying experience.

You will need to enter a valid email address which we can contact you on and provide a password. We ask you to keep this secure - our staff do not have access to see this. If you forget your password, you can reset it.

4. Delivery

Garden Trends believes delivery should be fast, easy and hassle-free. Orders placed after Thursday PM, during the weekend or on a Bank Holiday will be subject to a slight delay as couriers do not operate a standard service during these periods. Once an order is placed, and an item has been dispatched, you will receive a Dispatch email. This will give you your delivery tracking number (where applicable).

4.1 Delivery to Mainland UK

Delivery pricing and schedules are available on our Delivery page. Delivery will be via a private courier service. This is dictated by the total weight or physical size of your order. Where possible we will endeavour to ship all purchased items together (if your order contains multiple items), this is however not always possible and you may therefore receive multiple shipments.

4.2 Delivery to UK Highlands and Channel Islands

This includes the Scottish Highlands, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man and Channel Islands. Delivery times on these orders will vary, depending on the size and weight of the order; orders to these locations may incur an additional shipping charge which you, the purchaser, are liable for (regardless of what is stated in general for Mainland UK general deliveries (Scottish Highlands specifically)). Please be assured that we always attempt to get your order with you as soon as possible, however, due to the additional difficulty in delivering to these locations, the advertised timeframes for delivery may not always be met; we do not hold any liability for exceeding this timeframe. 4.3 Delivery of Large or Bulky Products

Larger or bulky items, which can include some barbecues, garden furniture sets, and any oversized items, may require a specialised delivery service. Should this be the case, the courier we select to deliver should contact you and arrange a suitable day for delivery.

Delivery will take place on Monday - Friday between 8.00 - 6.00pm and there must be someone in to sign. If you are unsure on any particular item, please call us.

Delivery of particularly large or pallet items are “kerbside” only, we nor the appointed courier has no obligation to carry your delivery up or down steps, through your house or delivering over difficult or unsafe terrain.

After you have taken delivery of your pallet item, we nor the courier are liable for damage caused in transporting the goods to their final destination after the courier drop off.

If there is nobody to accept delivery of a pallet or bulky item on the agreed date of delivery, we reserve the right to charge you for a re-delivery attempt.

4.4 Delivery to Europe

AT THIS TIME WE ARE NOT OPERATING DELIVERIES OUTSIDE OF THE MAINLAND UK, if you make an order and the delivery address is outside of our current operating scope, we reserve the right to outright cancel your order without your agreement and process a refund; we will always attempt to contact you prior to cancelling the order.

4.5 Delivery to Rest of World

AT THIS TIME WE ARE NOT OPERATING DELIVERIES OUTSIDE OF THE MAINLAND UK, if you make an order and the delivery address is outside of our current operating scope, we reserve the right to outright cancel your order without your agreement and process a refund; we will always attempt to contact you prior to cancelling the order.

4.6 Delivery during busy periods

We experience a surge of orders between April to July and November to January. At these times, all our services and suppliers are pushed to their maximum capabilities and occasionally this can lead to a slight delay in order processing and despatch. We will endeavour to keep you informed at all times.

Due to the additional difficulty on all supply chain aspects during these times, the advertised timeframes for delivery may not always be met; we do not hold any liability for exceeding this timeframe.

4.7 Next Day Delivery

You can contact us for a quote on next day delivery, this may not always be possible and if it would be possible it will incur an additional charge that must be paid in addition to the item/s purchase. It is not always possible for a courier to complete a delivery next day, we nor the courier are liable for the return of these costs if the agreed date is not met.

4.8 Damage during delivery

Occasionally items are damaged during transit, it is crucial to document any visible signs of damage before accepting a delivery (especially pallet deliveries) or before opening the box. Any damage reported after a reasonable amount of time (180 days expressed under the consumer rights act), Garden Trends Ltd reserve the right to refuse an outright replacement and refund of the entire purchase price of the item. After 180 days the burden of proof is with you, the consumer to prove the damage was present within the first 6 months of taking delivery.

Prior to any refund, if this evidence is forthcoming, we must be permitted a chance to repair or replace the item/s.

5. Completed orders and payments

We accept Visa Debit, MasterCard, Visa Credit, UK Maestro and Switch, Visa Electron, AMEX, Apple and Android/Google pay, Paypal, ShopPay and Klarna. If you are shopping from a non-UK country or in non-sterling currency, please place your order in the normal way, and your bank/card processor will convert the order to your currency.

5.1 Back Orders

If your item is not in stock, we may be able to back-order it for you. Please call our Customer Services for more information. If you have placed a purchase on a back order, you are entitled to cancel your order subject to our cancellation terms.

5.2 Tax

For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 20% VAT is added. All non-EU countries may be entitled to a VAT refund. Please contact us for details.

5.3 Card Security

When the order is placed through our website (hosted through shopify), all details are 128-bit encrypted and PCI DSS compliant. They are not held in clear-text on any website.

6. Order cancellation

An order cancellation can only take place if an item has not been despatched. If an item has been despatched in good faith, this will then be classed as a return.

Should you wish to cancel an order, please call us immediately (do not email). No charges will then be levied.

If your item has been dispatched and you wish to cancel, you will be liable for return costs, please contact our customer services team for further information.

You have the statutory right to cancel your order for any reason within 14 days beginning with the day you receive the item 

7. Refund policy

Should a situation arise where a refund is required, an investigation may be carried out and a refund will be issued as soon as possible if it is found to be a valid request.

Once a refund has been processed, please allow 3-5 working days for funds to show in your relevant account; we are not liable for any costs or damages of refunding outside of this time.

8. Returns

When enquiring about a return, please have full order details ready. When completing the Returns Form, please ensure this is completed fully and correctly to ensure your refund is processed quickly.

We do not offer a free return service for any products that are unwanted unless within an advertised free return period, please review our returns policy for further information.

8.1 Unwanted Item & Returns

We allow a 30-day cooling off period in which you can notify us of your intention to return the item(s), and a further 30-days from this point to send the items back to us. Your refund will be sent to the same payment method that you used to place the order. Under the Consumer Rights Act you have a legal right to reject goods that are of unsatisfactory quality, unfit for purpose or not as described, and get a full refund or an exchange - as long as you do this quickly. This right is limited to 30 days from the date you buy your product.

If your unwanted goods were received outside of our 30-day cooling off period, we may be willing to authorise an extended period in which you can return the goods, however, we would always advise whether this was possible before agreeing it with you and it would only be offered in select circumstances. Any return even within this cooling off period would incur a return fee, varying depending on the item purchased.

You have a duty to take reasonable care of returned products and any refund may be withheld or a charge incurred if you fail to take such care and damage the products. Please make sure that your return package is packed and sealed securely. We recommend the use of an insured parcel service (if we do not receive the item back due to being lost in transit, we are not liable to fulfil the refund of the item). Please retain proof of postage as we cannot issue refunds for items we do not receive. For further information, visit our Returns section.

If you refuse an order at the door, we reserve the right to deduct shipping cost and restocking costs from any refund you may be due. If these costs exceed the price of the item you will not receive any refund.

If your goods arrive damaged at the point of delivery, you must report this to us within 30 days, your cooling off period. During this time we will discuss with you an appropriate resolution; if none are acceptable you hold the right under the Consumer Rights Act to request a return and refund of the goods at no charge or deduction.



8.2 Faulty items

If you have a fault with an item, please contact Customer Services and we will assist you in obtaining a refund or replacement.

Usually, we will advise you to take photos and email those to us.

We at our own discretion may require a product to be collected from you before any refund could be arranged.

Any faults reported after a reasonable amount of time (180 days expressed under the consumer rights act), Garden Trends Ltd reserve the right to refuse an outright replacement and refund of the entire purchase price of the item. After 180 days the burden of proof is with you, the consumer to prove the damage was present within the first 6 months of taking delivery.

Prior to any refund, if this evidence is forthcoming, we must be permitted a chance to repair or replace the item/s.

8.3 Exchanges

If you wish to exchange any unwanted items, you must do this within 30 days of receiving the goods. You will be required to pay any return postage costs. The goods must be received in original condition with original packaging, and fit for resale. Any additional charge or refund will be processed at point of despatch, provided we are issued with the tracking number for the return.

8.4 Incorrect items

On some occasions, an incorrect item may be dispatched. Should this happen, please contact us immediately to arrange for a free returns label for small items, or courier collection for larger items. We will then arrange dispatch of the correct item free of charge.

This does not effect your statutory rights as a consumer.

8.5 Free Returns Special Offer

On occasion, we may offer a free returns period. On such occasions, we must be notified within 15 days of despatch of your intention to return the item, and we must receive the item within 30 days of your order. You must contact us to arrange for a free returns label to be emailed to you. You in turn must be able to print off this label to return the item to us.

Some larger items may require a collection by our specified courier service. We will ask you to provide us with a suitable weekday for collection to be arranged (between 8am-6pm).

8.6 Free Gifts

On occasion, we may offer a free gift when you order a particular product(s) or spend a certain amount. If you wish to return the paid item you ordered you will need to return the free gift also.

8.7 Voucher Codes / Discount Codes

On occasion, we may offer a discount on your order or certain items using a discount or voucher code. These codes are applicable for online transactions only and cannot typically be used in conjunction with any other offer. We reserve the right to end or extend these promotions at any time and without notice. Codes must be used during the checkout process and cannot be applied after purchase.

We reserve the right to cancel any order with a code that remained active as a result of a machine processing failure or human error.

9. Guarantee

In addition to normal manufacturers guarantees, we offer our own 30 day no-quibble money-back guarantee. If you decide for any reason the product is not suitable for you, then please contact us within this time. You will be required to pay any return postage costs. The goods must be received in original condition with original packaging, and fit for resale.

10. Price-Match Guarantee

Garden Trends will always do its best to be great value. In the unlikely event you find a better deal elsewhere (which is in-stock and has free delivery), then please contact us and we will endeavour to match this.

This guarantee does not apply to any products undergoing special clearance or sale events with another retailer.

11. Privacy Policy

Garden Trends do not disclose buyers' information to third-parties other than when details are required as part of the order fulfilment process or to gather review feedback. In these cases, the third-party will not disclose any of the details to any other third-party.

Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option. They are also used after you have logged on as part of that process.

If you turn off cookies, you will be unable to place orders or benefit from the other features that use cookies.

11.1 Data Usage

Data collected by this site is used to:
a. Take and fulfil customer orders
b. Administer and enhance the site and service
c. Issue a unique identifier (e.g. customer login)
d. Monitor customer account status beyond that required for individual purchases
e. Only disclose information to third-parties for goods delivery purposes
f. Only disclose information to TrustPilot for the purpose of gathering feedback about your experience and the product/s purchased 

12. Warranties

Most of our products are sold new; all new products come with a warranty period of at least 1-year, please refer to the specific product page for more specific information.

Ex-Display marked products are not guaranteed to have a warranty, please contact us directly for confirmation on individual items. We will endeavour to assist with any issues if they should arise shortly after delivery, we do not however hold any liability on faults to these products.

13. Miscellaneous

13.1 Liability

In no case will Garden Trends Ltd, our directors, officers, employees, affiliates, agents, contractors, interns, suppliers, service providers or licensors be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages of any kind, including, without limitation lost profits, lost revenue, lost savings, loss of data, replacement costs, or any similar damages, whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise, arising from your use of any of the service or any products procured using the service, or for any other claim related in any way to your use of the service or any product, including, but not limited to, any errors or omissions in any content, or any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of the service or any content (or product) posted, transmitted, or otherwise made available via the service, even if advised of their possibility. Because some states or jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or the limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, in such states or jurisdictions, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

13.2 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Garden Trends Ltd, or our affiliates, partners, officers, directors, agents, contractors, licensors, service providers, subcontractors, suppliers, interns and employees, harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, made by any third-party due to or arising out of your breach of these Terms of Service or the documents they incorporate by reference, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third-party.

 13.3 Severability

In the event that any provision of these Terms of Service is determined to be unlawful, void or unenforceable, such provision shall nonetheless be enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and the unenforceable portion shall be deemed to be severed from these Terms of Service, such determination shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any other remaining provisions.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check our website periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to our website or the Service following the posting of any changes to these Terms of Service constitutes acceptance of those changes.

This website is operated by Garden Trends Ltd. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Garden Trends Ltd. Garden Trends Ltd offers this website, including all information, tools and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here.

By visiting our site and/ or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”, “Terms”), including those additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink. These Terms of Service apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/ or contributors of content.

14 In-Store & Online Competitions and Promotions

General Terms

Entries into these promotional events must be 18 or over; we reserve the right to request proof of age if you are the winning entry. If you are under 18 and your entry wins, the entry is nullified and a new winner will be chosen.

Entrants must reside within the mainland UK

Giveaways will be free to enter.

Promotional giveaway dates will be specified on the relevant social media/website/showroom promotional event notice; any entries made after this time will not be counted.

You may only enter the giveaway once (only your first entry will be the valid entry); any duplicate entries will be discarded regardless of if they would have been a winning entry.

When entering the giveaway, you agree and consent to be contacted directly by Garden Trends Ltd. or a representative of Garden Trends Ltd. to confirm the winning entry and organise delivery of the prize. If you have not been contacted, your entry was not the winning entry (you will be asked to confirm your email address and/or phone number). You also agree to have your entry data collected and stored for only the purpose of the entered giveaway; we will not process or use this data outside of this purpose.

Our competitions run as a “guess the number” unless specified otherwise. The winner will be chosen based on the exact guess or closeness to the number of the applicable “guess the number” item being written on your entry. If there is no entry that guesses the exact number; we reserve the right to re-run the competition or to select a winning entry/entries that have guessed the closest number.

In the event of the competition having multiple winning entries, you consent to being put into a final name-draw to confirm the winner. You may be contacted about being shortlisted for the final winners draw if applicable.

If a winning entry does not respond to our contact within 72 hours of our contact attempt, we reserve the right to re-draw the winning entry if there are multiple winners (excluding the previous winning entry), or to re-run the competition if the entry was the sole winning entry after fair notice (a further 48 hours after our initial contact attempt).

By entering the giveaway, you consent to all the listed rules and actions involved; if you withdraw your consent to any of these stated rules or actions, your entry into the giveaway will also be removed.

For our in-store giveaways, we may require a signature to confirm the validity of the entry.


Giveaways advertised on our social media are not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta or other third-party organisations. Garden Trends Ltd. operates and administers the giveaway on their chosen social media platform; all giveaways are operated fairly and within bounds of the law.

Liking the post on social media is not equivalent to an entry unless specified otherwise.

The giveaway products are products that are already for-sale on our website or in-store. The relevant RRP and for-sale price is hosted.

You cannot return your prize if you are the winner for the cash value.

If your prize arrives damaged, we will swap the damaged piece/set where applicable.

Your prize will include a warranty as if you purchased the item; this will be valid from the date of delivery
