We want to make returning unwanted items to us as easy as possible. You will receive a returns form with your order which you should complete and return along with your items - or download a copy below.

When returning an item to Garden Trends for refund, exchange or faulty replacement it is essential that you fully complete the returns form and include it with your return within the package.

Unwanted items

Please return any unwanted items within 30 days of receiving your order. You are required to pay any return shipping costs. You can opt to make courier arrangements for return yourself, although we do recommend following our instructions below.

Large barbecues, garden furniture and other oversized items require specialised delivery services.

Small and Medium Sized Orders: A convenient returns service you can use is Collect+. Using this means you can return your smaller items (like wellies) for a fixed cost of £4.89. It's easier and cheaper than queueing at the Post Office!

Large and Bulky Items: We recommend you call us to arrange collection of larger or bulky items. Please note, most items incur a £25.00 collection fee which will be charged to your card before we arrange collection of the items.

Pallet-delivered Items: We recommend you call us to arrange collection by a specialist carrier network. Please note, collection fee starts at £60 which will be charged to your card before we arrange collection of the items.

We can only accept items returned in original condition (with original packaging). Please remember the product remains yours until successfully received by our Distribution Centre.

Exchanges

If you wish to exchange any items (change of size/colour/product) within 30 days of receiving your order, please complete the returns form and send the products back to us for a full refund.

Please reorder your required items to ensure you receive your required items promptly.

Faulty or Incorrect Item Delivered

If a faulty item is delivered, or you receive an incorrect item, you will be offered a replacement. If this is not satisfactory, a full refund will be offered and you will be required to contact us to return the item. Faulty items must be returned within 30 days if a refund is to be issued. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

To return a faulty or incorrect item, please contact us. If the item is large or bulky, we will arrange a convenient day to collect your items.

Unfortunately, if you arrange to return an item yourself, we will not be able to refund the cost of shipping.

Faulty Wellies

If you've had your wellies for less than 6 months, please email us 3 photos clearly showing the whole boot, the sole and the damaged area. We'll review your photos and if we deem them faulty, we'll arrange a collection and a replacement pair of wellies will be issued once the faulty boots are received back.

If you've had your wellies for up to one year, please email us 3 photos clearly showing the whole boot, the sole and the damaged area. We'll review your photos and if we deem them faulty, we'll issue a replacement like-for-like pair of boots. It can be difficult to ascertain whether an items faulty or fair wear-and-tear, so it's down to the customer to prove the fault to us.

We may decide to offer a customer a replacement pair of wellies, even where fault can't be proved, as a gesture of goodwill. However, the returns postage for the "faulty" pair will be down to you (and we can't replace the original items until we've received the faulty ones back).

 

Order cancellation

If you wish to cancel an order that has NOT been dispatched a full refund will be issued, you must phone us immediately (not by email).

Should you wish to cancel goods that have left our Distribution Centre, orders may be subject to the returns charges listed below.

Your rights to return goods are protected under the The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
