The following PRESS RELEASE has been published.
Garden Trends have opened a new garden furniture and barbecues showroom in Reading, Berkshire. The store, at Ladds Garden Village, combines indoor and outdoor spaces to showcase their selection, knowledgable staff and a relaxed shopping environment.
Their range includes popular Barbecues from Grillstream, BeefEater and Outback alongside Australia's own Fervor brand. Garden Furniture by LeisureGrow, 4 Seasons Outdoor and Alexander Rose are well represented.
Ladds Garden Village has a small nursery area, and a café, Interflora florist, aquatics and reptile centre, pet store, as well as other local businesses. A popular attraction is Feathers and Fur, where you can see a selection of birds of prey demonstrations.
Gordon Parry, Managing Director of Garden Trends, said: “I’m very pleased to have opened a new store in Reading. The team have pulled together and we’ve got a great range to showcase to our customers.”
Barry Holliman, has owned the Ladds Garden Village since 1972. He added: "We're delighted that Garden Trends have opened a showroom here. Ladds is a great community of independent retailers, and a Garden Furniture store will complement what we can offer.”
The new showroom replaces the showroom at Hare Hatch Sheeplands Garden Centre, after a legal ruling on 30 June 2017 deemed that independent traders on the site would have to close. Hare Hatch, their farm shop and café will now continue to grow their business.
You’ll find the Garden Trends Showroom at Ladds Garden Village on the A4 Bath Road between Reading and Maidenhead.
Garden Trends also have an outlet at Country Market Garden Centre near Alton, Hampshire.
